The Vibe: A Tolkein-style adventure with a Celtic-inspired minor pentatonic melody (imagine a flute).

The Challenge for Students: Level 3A-3B (Piano Adventures) students will need to master the ever-changing pattern of moving left hand open 5ths in the key of D minor (1 flat). Right hand will gracefully break free from the confines of 5-finger positions to deliver sweeping, emotive phrases.

While the LH will consistently play moving 5ths throughout, the RH will play with different melodic sixth patterns.

End the tale with a dramatic build-up to a peaceful resolution on a major triad.
