A captivating musical adventure for beginner piano students. Students will review the notes of the Middle C Position while working with a lilting "on the sea" rhythm in 3/4 time.

Lots of finger number hints are included on the first verse to help Primer Level students get 'hooked' on the story. But less are included in verse two...and even less in verse three!

The lyrics of the song tell a kid-friendly tale of two pirates who retire and go their separate ways (and both have a happy ending). Students will also discover the suspense of adding a fermata.

A super simple teacher duet part in included (easy enough for an older sibling to learn!) and there's also a fill-in-the-blank theory page with a short pirate story (reviewing the 5 notes of the Middle C Position).
