😵‍💫 The look of confusion when I sing the lyrics to Auld Lang Syne.

The usual response is, "I think I may have heard this melody, but I've never heard these words! What the heck are they talking about?"

In this arrangement, I have retained the traditional melody we all know as Auld Lang Syne, but I have rewritten the lyrics to describe the typical modern family enjoying a few days off for holiday break.

• reviews the notation, name, and fingering for the I, IV, and V7 chords in the key of C Major
• asks students to copy the chords in bass clef
