**What is on each Warm-up Sheet?
Each warm-up sheet is designed to establish longterm knowledge of each scale and its corresponding chords and I-chord arpeggio, while introducing the student to reading in the key signature (just on one line).
EACH MAJOR WARM-UP SHEET INCLUDES:
- RH only one octave scale (all finger numbers and sharps/flats included)
- LH only one octave scale
- Hands together one octave scale
- Chord pattern I - IV - I - V7 - I (all finger numbers and sharps/flats included)
- Cross-over arpeggio (all finger numbers and sharps/flats included)
- Mini-song using all chords written in the key signature
EACH MINOR WARM-UP SHEET INCLUDES:
Minor warm-up sheets include the same as major warm-up sheets except that the hands separate scale is replaced with 2 hands together one octave scales: one in natural minor and one in harmonic minor.
Why this order of major and minor scales? Why not go in order of the circle of fifths?
The order of keys in this pack matches the key introduction schedule of the Piano Adventures method books. Of course, you are welcome to re-order the pages to suit your students' needs.
And note that the Appendices include ALL MAJOR AND MINOR SCALES & ARPEGGIOS IN CIRCLE OF 5THS ORDER!
