Vibe: 3/4 time waltz in C minor. Right hand leads, left hand follows. Legato phrases turn into light, crisp staccatos for a grand build-up into a D.C. al Fine. Who knew ghosts could be so much fun?

Challenge: Level 1B Early Elementary piano students will need to master the C minor scale (E-flats notated) recognizing steps vs skips. Legato phrases followed by coordinating three notes at a time using a light staccato touch and using frequent black keys. Students will need to internalize the waltz feel. Cute lyrics help greatly with the 3/4 rhythm.

A helpful step vs step identifying theory worksheet is included to help student recognize melody patterns to help with the first page.
