If you're a piano teacher or music teacher looking to boost student practice, using a music practice chart is a great way to motivate!

How I Use these seasonal practice sheets:
1. Print and distribute a chart to each student.
3. Track their progress over 13 weeks of practice (one season or quarter).
4. Award prizes for minutes practiced!
I have used this chart design with my own piano students and it has truly worked to IMPROVE their practicing and growth on their instrument!
What is on the CHART?
Each of the 5 chart designs include:
✦ Student's name
✦ a space to include your studio's Logo (optional)
✦ 13 weeks of practice log
✦ boxes to write practice minutes for each day of the week
✦ boxes to total each week's practice minutes and their cumulative minutes practiced
✦ boxes to get a parent signature each week
✦ checkboxes to celebrate each milestone (100 minutes practiced, 200 minutes practiced, etc)
✦ a place to record their final total minutes
✦ a note reminding students to use a timer
✦ and a note reminding students to have a parent sign and bring their chart to each lesson
