Level 2 (Elementary) student will explore accidentals that create the fun "carnival" chromatic melodies of the ragtime genre.

An accessible rag for students sticking mostly in the C Pentascale and venturing to the A Minor scale for the middle section. Moves are clearly marked.

Syncopation abounds, but happens one hand at a time, so these students who are new to reading eighth notes aren't too confused by the jazzy feel.
